Waiting On The Bus

Waiting on the bus,
Yea I’m waiting on the bus,
It’s because I don’t have a car,
Soon when I become a star I will have millions of cars,
Driving from state to state,
Picking up food that is far,
Just because I have a car,
I travel millions of miles just to get to work,
Sometimes I don’t travel that far even to get to church,
Oh all of the cars I see,
To and fro,
To work I go,
On the bus,
For now,
I travel on foot or by bus,
When I get my car I will be leaving the bus in my dust,
I see you 19B in my rear view,
I see the 5M and 723,
Yes of course I don’t mind giving rides,
But taking the bus helps me to stay grounded,
Helps me not to be lazy,
If I have somewhere to go and $2.25 in hand,
The bus is where you will see me land,
Oh but not for long I say,
But for today I see the bus pulling up,
I must hop on to get to my destination.
