Hello Freedom School Parents,
We are very excited to kick off the 2017 Freedom School summer with the most amazing scholars! The first week of Freedom School was filled with happiness and teamwork. Our goal is to increase the scholars literacy skills with our integrated reading curriculum, we are very proud of the scholars and are looking forward to the next five weeks! Harambee!

The scholars had a lot of fun, one of their most favorite activities throughout the week is swimming!








These pictures are from the integrated reading curriculum better known as IRC. Also, a few pictures of our morning circle refered to as Harambee, which means “let’s pull together” in the African language Swahili.
