Hello guys and gals!
If you have been following my page thus far, you will know that I am really into cooking. I love making meals and chefin’ it up in the kitchen. One of my favorite recipes is definitely the Indian style baked chicken. I added four sides as the side dishes and the last one just may surprise you. Make sure to follow my page for more recipes, and other interesting blog posts. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 pack of chicken drumsticks
1 can of Whole Kernel Corn
1 can of Glory Foods Mixed Greens
6 potatoes
1 cup of milk
1 stick of butter
1 tbsp of canola oil
olive oil
1 tbsp of cayenne pepper
2 tbsp of sugar
1 sweet pepper
black pepper
salt
Marinade:
1 Tomato (diced)
1/4 cup of cilantro
1/2 of whole red onion
4 lemon slices
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 tbsp of curry powder
2 tbsp of ground cumin
2 tbsp of ground turmeric
2 tbsp of ground coriander
2 tbsp of black pepper
2 garlic cloves (minced)
2 sweet peppers (diced)

I marinated the chicken for two days but you can marinate it overnight and it will still turn out great. Bake chicken at 350 degrees for 2 hours.

Cut 6 potatoes in half and boil on high for 20 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of black pepper and salt. Drain water when done boiling. In separate pot, pour 1 cup of milk and 1/2 stick of butter in pot. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Pour milk mixture into pot with the potatoes. Use potato masher to mash and mix potatoes with milk mixture.

I used a can of Glory Foods Mixed Greens (turnip, mustard greens, and kale). First, I rinsed the greens in a colander. Next, I cut up 1 sweet pepper and added 1 tbsp of canola oil to a small pot and turned the heat on medium, simmering the sweet pepper for about 5 minutes before adding the greens. After adding the greens, I used 2 tbsp of sugar and 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper. Let the greens simmer on low for about 15-20 minutes.

I added one can of whole kernel corn to a pot and added 1 tbsp of butter and 1/2 tbsp of black pepper. Let simmer on low for 15 minutes.

I told you earlier that this might surprise you but I added cinnamon applesauce as a side dish. It was so good, I was glad that I made the decision to add it on the side. Delicioso!

The final product, came out great and tasted even better!

Food Tip: Make sure all of your meals are made with love, that is the most important ingredient.
